Naturopathy
Pregnancy
Naturopathy is a great resource to have on you side as you move through your journey. She will assess your internal health and give you practical solutions to supporting your body.
Nurturing yourself and your growing baby is one of the most important things you can do during your pregnancy.
When you don't nurture yourself, you might find you experience constipation, heartburn, reflux, anxiety, depression, fatigue, leg cramps, haemorrhoids, fissures, gestational diabetes, insomnia and more, which impacts on your experience of what should be an exciting and joyful time in your life, and can instead end up being tiring and unpleasant.
Looking after yourself results in you feeling content and happy, having good energy levels, sleeping well, and feeling well prepared for the birth of your precious and healthy baby.
If you want to have a happy healthy pregnancy, a positive birth experience, and a fuss free start to breastfeeding, then book your naturopathy appointment today.
Postnatal
Your first consultation will take approximately 60 minutes. It includes detailed case taking and physical assessments such as tongue, nail and iris analysis. Please bring copies of any recent test results, as well as the medicines (both pharmaceutical and 'natural') that you are currently taking- either write a list, or put everything into a bag and bring it with you to your consultation.
Depending on what comes up in your consultation, you may be asked to complete a diet diary, especially if food sensitivities or intolerances may be an issue for you.
Treatment may include diet and lifestyle advice, herbal medicine, flower essences, nutritional supplements, or Celloid mineral therapy.
A lending library and referral to other practitioners is available if required.
Private health rebates may apply, depending on your level of cover.
